I found this piece at the Salvage Design Center and it was in rough shape. I was originally going to refinish it but switched directions to painting the body instead.

I took it all apart, filled in cracks, sanded it down, and reglued the parts that needed strengthening.

I sanded down the butcher block top really well and coated it with several coats of tung oil.

I finished reassembling it yesterday and it’s ready for sale. It would be a great island for a smaller kitchen or extra storage.
