There’s no doubt that repurposing furniture is a great way to reduce your environmental footprint. Not only is it a fun and creative way to use old furniture, but it also helps to reduce the amount of garbage that’s produced.

And, of course, furniture repurposing is a great way to get some extra money – without having to sell or donate your old furniture. Here are a few tips for furniture repurposing:

1. Look for furniture that’s in good condition but that you don’t need anymore.

2. Gauge how much space you have in your home and how much furniture you need to store.

3. Remove the broken or damaged pieces of furniture and recycle them.

4. Scrape off the paint and other chemicals that may have been applied to the furniture in the past.

5. If you have any woodworking skills, you can add new pieces or repairs to your furniture using this wood.

6. Store your repurposed furniture in a cool, dry place.

7. Enjoy your new furniture – and be sure to tell all your friends about it!

Repurposing a Piano

I’ve been wanting to do a repurposed piano for a couple years. I’d seen some really cool repurposed pianos on Pinterest and other places. I kept my eye out for a piano on Craigslist. There are plenty of used pianos being given away on Craigslist. The problem was whether or not I could get the piano to my house.
